The Artist: I am a photographer who lives in Southport, North Carolina. I photograph the coastal area where I live and the places I travel. I began experimenting with AI to enhance my photos. Over time, the photos started to feel less like a snapshot and more like the way I actually remembered the moment.

Each piece begins as an original photograph, one real moment captured in time. I use AI to first anchor the reality of the photo with standalone ink sketch. The sketch is then digitally watercolor washed with warm tones. The result feels more like a memory: grounded in reality, but softened and warmed by time.
